2009 Summer Academy Week

Summer Academy Week -  A successful week of coaching was held with the weather changing our plans at times. Despite this the children had a great time learning skills and playing games. Thanks to all the coaches and administrators for their time and effort that made this possible.  It is hoped to run the cricket week again in 2010, watch this space.

Preamble

This is Tiddington Cricket Club's first academy week which will be an intensive week of cricket coaching and education that aims to improve every aspect of your game. The week is open to children in school year groups 4 to 9. Those taking part will be under the guidance of  ECB qualified coaches from Tiddington Cricket Club.

Each day will focus on different aspects of the game, batting, bowling, fielding, tactics, captaincy, etiquette, umpiring and scoring. Fun and games will be included to complement the serious coaching to ensure those attending have great time.

The programme will run from 10am to 3pm daily and the cost for the week will be £80 or if you can't make the whole week the daily rate is £20.  The day will run from 10:00 am to 3:pm.  Please bring a packed lunch.
